Very predictable result when second ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (12-5) defeated on the road 11th ranked SC Rist Wedel (5-12) 66-57 on Sunday. Robin Amaize (188-94) stepped up and scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and power forward Sid-Marlon Theis (204-93) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Herzoege Wolfenbuettel players scored in double figures. Power forward Helge Baues (205-94, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Amir Carraway (198-91, college: Chico St.) scored 11 points. SC Rist Wedel's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Herzoege Wolfenbuettel. Newly promoted Herzoege Wolfenbuettel maintains second place in North with 12-5 record having just two points less than leader Iserlohn.
