Regular Season Round 17: Stahnsdorf - Hertener Loewen 81-58

There was a minor upset in Stahnsdorf where 8th ranked Hertener Loewen (7-10) was rolled over by tenth ranked RSV Eintracht (6-11) 81-58 on Sunday. RSV Eintracht looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Hertener Loewen's players. American forward Jeff Harper (203-87) stepped up and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and forward Erik Mueller (202-92) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Harper is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. RSV Eintracht's coach Jan Sauerbrey felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American guard DeAndre Lansdowne (187-89, college: Fort Lewis) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and guard Jeffrey Martin (189-94, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 19 points. RSV Eintracht moved-up to ninth place in North. Hertener Loewen lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. RSV Eintracht will face higher ranked Itzehoe (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
