Regular Season Round 19: Adanaspor - Acibadem 78-82

Very expected game when 17th ranked Adanaspor (4-15) was defeated at home by third ranked Acibadem (15-4) 82-78. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Adanaspor won third quarter 22-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Acibadem players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American-Bulgarian point guard Keydren Clark (180-84, college: St.Peter's) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 5 assists. Naturalized Azerbaijani Orhan Haciyeva (200-89) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Acibadem's coach Alp Bayramoglu allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) came up with 24 points and 5 assists and Latvian center Kaspars Kambala (206-78, college: UNLV, agency: Ali Guney BA) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Adanaspor in the defeat. Acibadem moved-up to second place. Adanaspor lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the seventeenth position with 15 games lost. Acibadem's next round opponent will be Denizli (#3) at home, which may be the game of the day. Adanaspor will play against Eskisehir Basket (#8) in Edirne and hope to win that game.
