Regular Season Round 21: Fraport SKY - Bremerhaven 91-60

Date: February 6, 2016
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (15-5) crushed 16th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (5-16) in Frankfurt 91-60. The game without a history. Deutsche Bank Skyliners led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jordan Theodore (182-89, college: Seton Hall) who scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import guard Quantez Robertson (188-84, college: Auburn) chipped in 16 points. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Larry Gordon (196-87, college: Cal Poly Pomona) who recorded 13 points and power forward Jannik Freese (211-86, agency: Octagon Europe) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Deutsche Bank Skyliners. They moved-up to second place, which they share with B.Muenchen. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Deutsche Bank Skyliners' next round opponent will be EnBW Ludwigsburg (#5) on the road. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play against ALBA Berlin (#6) and hope to win that game.
