No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Rostock (11-7) defeated at home 10th ranked SC Rist Wedel (5-13) 84-72. Naturalized American Andres Murillo (201-90, college: Biola, CA, agency: Octagon Europe) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Matthew Hunter (196-90, college: Cent.Conn.St.) supported him with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Even 14 points and 7 rebounds by power forward Helge Baues (205-94, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for SC Rist Wedel. American forward Amir Carraway (198-91, college: Chico St.) added 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Rostock moved-up to third place in North, which they share with Art.Dragons and Oldenburg.
