ProB top team - Iserlohn (16-3) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked Hertener Loewen (7-12) 84-76. Iserlohn forced 19 Hertener Loewen turnovers. It was a quality performance for center Marcel Kessen (207-97, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Jerry Brown Jr. (201-91, college: Santa Clara) accounted for 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Iserlohn's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Felix Neumann (201-90) came up with 22 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Brandon Griffin (202-82, college: SE Missouri St.) added 12 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals respectively for Hertener Loewen in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Iserlohn have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place in North with 16-3 record. Hertener Loewen lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. Iserlohn will meet at home AstroStars (#4) in the next round. Hertener Loewen will play against Recklinghausen (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
