Very expected game when 10th ranked Koeln Rh.Stars (10-11) were defeated at home by third ranked SC Rasta Vechta (17-3) 77-61 on Sunday. SC Rasta Vechta made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Koeln Rh.Stars were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Filipino forward Christian Standhardinger (203-89, college: Hawaii) scored 6 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Devin Gibson (180-89, college: UTSA, agency: Two Points) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four SC Rasta Vechta players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized American forward Alex Foster (203-92, college: Emory) responded with 17 points and American guard Lakeem Jackson (196-90, college: S.Carolina, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. SC Rasta Vechta have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. SC Rasta Vechta will face league's leader Science City Jena at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
