The game between closely ranked teams ended with 13th ranked ETB Wohnbau's (7-16) road loss to twelfth ranked White Wings (9-14) 76-98 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by White Wings. ETB Wohnbau was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. White Wings shot 65.4 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. White Wings looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Luke Loucks (196-90, college: Florida St.) who scored 15 points and 6 assists. Forward Robin Christen (202-91) chipped in 18 points. American guard Tre Bowman (196-91, college: Iona) produced 20 points and the other American import point guard Gary Johnson (188-82, college: Cent.Florida) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Five White Wings and four ETB Wohnbau players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted White Wings maintains twelfth place with 9-14 record. ETB Wohnbau lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. White Wings will face bottom-ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (#16) on the road in the next round. ETB Wohnbau will play against Gladiators and hope to win that game.
