Very expected game when 8th ranked Vitoria SC (8-12) lost on the road to fourth ranked Ovarense (12-8) 73-62. The game was mostly controlled by Ovarense. Vitoria SC was better in second period 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Vitoria SC to just 7 points in first quarter. American power forward Raven Barber (206, college: Mt.St.Mary's) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Nuno Morais (183-90) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Brett Ervin (201-91, college: Minn.-Duluth) responded with 15 points and the former international point guard Pedro Pinto (188-88) scored 9 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ovarense moved-up to third place. Vitoria SC at the other side keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost.
