The best player for the winners was American point guard Randal Holt (185-91, college: Kent St.) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 assists. Guard Daniel Krause (195-88) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. Five Titans players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian forward Onochie Ochie (198-92, college: SE Louisiana) who recorded 22 points and 9 rebounds and American center Khobi Williamson (201-92, college: Hampden-Sydney) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Titans have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place in South, which they share with Elchingen and Leipzig. Speyer lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Titans will face higher ranked Giants (#3) in Noerdlingen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Speyer will play on the road against Licher Basket (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
