The game with biggest result difference took place in Rhoendorf. Local Dragons Rhoendorf (2-24) was outscored by sixth ranked Gladiators (16-11) 100-60 on Saturday night. Gladiators forced 21 Dragons Rhoendorf turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Gladiators especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Dwayne Evans (198-92, college: St.Louis) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and center Justin Raffington (206-91, college: Florida Atlantic) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American forward Jordan Hamilton (198-89, college: Lehigh) responded with 20 points and 4 assists and center Florian Wendeler (205-93) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gladiators have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 16-11 record. Dragons Rhoendorf lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 24 lost games. Gladiators will meet league's leader Science City Jena on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
