There was a minor upset when 9th ranked CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu (10-16) was crushed at home by eleventh ranked BC Timisoara (8-18) 81-53 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-53. BC Timisoara looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Serbian power forward Dalibor Djapa (205-84, agency: 011 Sports) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners.
