Important game to mention about took place in Ulm. Twelfth ranked BBC Bayreuth (10-15) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging higher ranked ratiopharm Ulm (15-10) 80-77 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. ratiopharm Ulm was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. BBC Bayreuth looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for American guard Jake Odum (193-91, college: Indiana St.) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international center Andreas Seiferth (209-89) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American forward Augustine Rubit (201-89, college: S.Alabama) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import power forward Raymar Morgan (202-88, college: Michigan St.) added 12 points in the effort for ratiopharm Ulm. BBC Bayreuth maintains twelfth place with 10-15 record, which they share with Telekom Bsk. Loser ratiopharm Ulm keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. BBC Bayreuth will face league's second-placed Bayern Muenchen at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
