Sixteenth-ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (2-27) gave a tough game to twelfth ranked Koeln Rh.Stars (12-16). The visitors from Koeln managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Dragons Rhoendorf was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 23-15 charge of Koeln Rh.Stars, which allowed them to win the game. Four Koeln Rh.Stars and five Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Koeln Rh.Stars moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Heidelberg. Dragons Rhoendorf lost their thirteenth game in a row. Dragons Rhoendorf at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay dead last with 27 lost games. Koeln Rh.Stars' next round opponent will be ETB Wohnbau (#14) in Essen. Dragons Rhoendorf will play on the road against Kirchheim Knights and will have a slim chance for a victory.
