1/8 Finals Round 3: Perlas-MRU - Rasai 72-61

Perlas-MRU held off Rasai to advance into the quarterfinal series. It looked good early as Rasai took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Perlas-MRU had a 25-9 second period charge getting the lead and Rasai was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 61-72. They outrebounded Rasai 43-28 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Domantas Pipiras (203-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Tomas Galeckas (184-94) helped adding 11 points and 4 assists. Perlas-MRU's coach Arvydas Gronskis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was center Vilius Sumskis (213-84, agency: Interperformances) with 22 points and American guard Gabriel Moton (191-91, college: Brandeis) scored 17 points and 4 assists.
