Quarter-Finals Round 2: Noerdlingen - Iserlohn 84-72

Date: April 16, 2016
Noerdlingen topped Iserlohn to advance into the next round of the playoffs. Giants made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Iserlohn turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Iserlohn was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Brandon Lockhart (185-90, college: Drury) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 9 steals to lead the effort and the other American import forward Jordan Talbert (198-91, college: Missouri So.) supported him with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Five Giants players scored in double figures. Even 7 points and 14 rebounds by center Marcel Kessen (207-97, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Iserlohn. Guard Joshua Dahmen (187-92) added 17 points for the guests. Iserlohn's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
