Horsens IC bounced back from the starting loss and upset Bakken in overtime drama to even the championship series. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 25-23 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 9-7. Horsens IC dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Bakken's 30. The best player for the winners was American guard Marquis Addison (195-91, college: Missouri So., agency: XL Basketball Agency) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard Nimrod Hilliard IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) chipped in 14 points and 9 assists. The former international swingman Thomas Laerke (195-91) produced 28 points and Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Horsens IC and four Bakken players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
