Licher Basket forced 20 Wuerzburg turnovers. Wuerzburg was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Lamar Mallory (198-90, college: Glenville St., agency: Warren Sports International) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized American swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Mallory is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Licher Basket's coach Joan Rallo-Fernandez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Constantin Ebert (185-96) responded with 26 points and 4 assists and American guard Travis Smith (190-91, college: Mercer) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds.
