Very expected game when 18th ranked Crailsheim Merlins (5-29) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Phoenix Hagen (14-20) 94-83 on Sunday. Phoenix Hagen made 36-of-41 free shots (87.8 percent) during the game, while Crailsheim Merlins only scored fourteen points from the stripe. Phoenix Hagen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Crailsheim Merlins were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard David Bell (187-81, agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 assists (made all of his eighteen free throws !!!). Point guard Brandon Jefferson (175-91, college: Metro St., agency: Two Points) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh) replied with 22 points and center Matt Stainbrook (208-92, college: Xavier, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 16 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) in the effort for Crailsheim Merlins. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Phoenix Hagen maintains eleventh position with 14-20 record. Crailsheim Merlins lost nineteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 29 lost games.
