Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (23-11) defeated at home 7th ranked ratiopharm Ulm (21-13) 94-79 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by EnBW Ludwigsburg. ratiopharm Ulm was better in fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. EnBW Ludwigsburg made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. ratiopharm Ulm was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Royce O'Neale (198-93, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 assists. The other American import forward Jon Brockman (201-87, college: Washington) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. International point guard Per Guenther (185-88) replied with 17 points and American power forward Raymar Morgan (202-88, college: Michigan St.) added 18 points in the effort for ratiopharm Ulm. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg maintains fifth position with 23-11 record. ratiopharm Ulm at the other side keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost.
