Semi-Finals Game 1: FC Porto - Ovarense 87-73

FC Porto topped Ovarense to gain 1-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by FC Porto Ferpinta. Ovarense managed to win third quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Troy DeVries (193-82, college: N.Mexico) fired 32 points for the winners. His fellow American import guard Bradley Tinsley (191-89, college: Vanderbilt) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. FC Porto Ferpinta's coach Moncho Lopez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Miguel Miranda (205-78) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Joseph Harris (196-87, college: Co.Carolina, agency: HMS) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four FC Porto Ferpinta and five Ovarense players scored in double figures.
