Jena clinched ProA title. They survived a tough challenge from Vechta and secured the victory on aggregate despite the loss. SC Rasta Vechta dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Science City Jena's 26 and made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. 31 personal fouls committed by Science City Jena helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Naturalized Filipino forward Christian Standhardinger (203-89, college: Hawaii) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Carlos Medlock (183-87, college: E.Michigan) contributed with 13 points and 8 assists for the winners. Five SC Rasta Vechta players scored in double figures. American guard Marcos Knight (188-89, college: Middle Tenn.St.) replied with 25 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Immanuel McElroy (194-80, college: Cincinnati) added 22 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Science City Jena. Science City Jena's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
