Quarter-Finals Round 3: Socar Petkim - Acibadem 48-88

Acibadem thumped Socar Petkim to complete the sweep of the series. Acibadem dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Socar Petkim's 26. They outrebounded Socar Petkim 46-27 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Acibadem players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Socar Petkim's players. The best player for the winners was the former international Ilkan Karaman (205-90) who scored 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Azerbaijani Orhan Haciyeva (200-89) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Five Acibadem players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Sercan Topcu (188-85) who recorded 11 points and guard Cagdas Erdogan (188-88) added 8 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
