Acibadem bounced back from the opening loss and nipped Balikesir to even things up at 1-1. Acibadem forced 20 Balikesir turnovers. American power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. The former international Ilkan Karaman (205-90) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Acibadem players scored in double figures. American point guard Alfrie Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) replied with 20 points and 7 assists and guard Ahmet Tuncer (193-93, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 19 points in the effort for Balikesir. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
