Very important is a home loss of Hamburg (1-1) against White Wings (1-1) on Saturday night. Host Hamburg was edged by White Wings in a tough game in Hamburg 68-71. The best player for the winners was American forward Kruize Pinkins (201-93, college: USF) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard Eugene Harris (185-86, college: High Point) chipped in 16 points. Center Enosch Wolf (216-90, college: Connecticut) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Cornelius Adler (195-89) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. White Wings will meet at home Mitteldeutscher BC (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hamburg will play against Koeln Rh.Stars and hope to win that game.
