Pertevniyal was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Afyonkarahisar 77-63 on Saturday night. Afyon Bld forced 20 Pertevniyal turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Quite impressive performance for swingman Ogun Sevinc (198-88) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. Guard Turgay Gedikli (192-91) contributed with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Sertay Gursu (194-87) answered with 16 points and forward Nedim Yucel (203-79) added 5 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Pertevniyal. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Afyon Bld will face Bursaspor at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
