The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Brasov (2-0) played at the court of Sirius TgM (0-2). Brasov smashed Sirius TgM 80-51. The game without a history. Brasov led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Sirius TgM to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.4 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Sirius TgM 46-33 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Brasov players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sirius TgM's players. American point guard KK Michaela Houser (170-91, college: Purdue) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 8 assists. Serbian Biljana Pesovic (180-83) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Brasov players scored in double figures. Brasov's coach Daniel Calancea felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Cherise Daniel (180-87, college: Ohio St.) replied with 15 points and her fellow American import center Teonia McCune (196-93, college: Georgetown, KY) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sirius TgM. Brasov will play against ICIM Arad (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sirius TgM will play against Iasi in Iasi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
