Regular Season Round 4: Randers - SISU 83-79

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Randers and 6th ranked SISU had identical 1-3 record. This time Randers used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Copenhagen 83-79. The hosts were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 22-17 run, which allowed them to win the game. Randers made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 SISU turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. SISU was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). American-Belizean point guard Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 21 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Randers' coach Morten Hansen allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Tanner McGrew (203, college: W.Virg.Wesl., agency: Duran International) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and Ivorian forward Adjehi Baru (206-91, college: Charleston) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for SISU. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Randers maintains fifth position with 2-3 record. SISU at the other side dropped to the seventh place with four games lost. Randers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU will play at home against the league's second-placed Horsens IC (#2) to get more than just one victory in their record.
