Regular Season Round 6: Iserlohn - Stahnsdorf 84-74

Very expected game when 12th ranked RSV Eintracht (1-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked Iserlohn (4-2) 84-74 on Saturday. Iserlohn forced 25 RSV Eintracht turnovers. Strangely RSV Eintracht outrebounded Iserlohn 45-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American-Ivorian forward Moussa Kone (203-93, college: Hofstra, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Yannick Opitz (186-90) chipped in 21 points. Iserlohn's coach Matthias Grothe used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Josh Adeyeye (195-93, college: Jacksonville) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Joey Ney (198-92) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Iserlohn moved-up to second place in North, which they share with Bochum and Itzehoe. RSV Eintracht lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with five games lost. Iserlohn will face Artland Dragons (#7) in Quakenbrueck in the next round where they are favorite. RSV Eintracht will play on the road against the league's second-placed Itzehoe (#2) and hope to win that game.
