Regular Season Round 5: Yesilgiresun - TED Kolejliler 107-77

Very expected game when bottom-ranked TED Kolejliler (0-5) was smashed by tenth ranked Yesilgiresun Bld (3-2) in Giresun 107-77 on Saturday. Yesilgiresun Bld dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to TED Kolejliler's 36 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Yesilgiresun Bld looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) answered with 26 points and 4 assists and the other American import Dominique Morrison (198-89, college: ORU) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for TED Kolejliler. Yesilgiresun Bld moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. TED Kolejliler lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Yesilgiresun Bld will face Usak Sportlif (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. TED Kolejliler will play against Pinar Karsiyaka and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
