Regular Season Round 8: Schwenningen - Fellbach 81-80

A very interesting game took place in Schwenningen. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th ranked Fellbach (5-3) to top-ranked BV Villingen-Schwenningen (8-0) 81-80 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was American forward Tabari Perry (203, college: Slippery Rock) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Bosnian-Slovenia power forward Edin Alispahic (208-88) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and forward Nils-Frederik Menck (203-82) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fellbach's coach Bekim Kukiqi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BV Villingen-Schwenningen have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South-West with 8-0 record. Newly promoted Fellbach keeps the fourth place with three games lost. BV Villingen-Schwenningen's next round opponent will be TV Langen (#7) on the road where they are favorite. Fellbach will play against Stuttgart and hope to win that game.
