There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked RSV Eintracht (2-6) beat 10th ranked SC Rist Wedel (2-6) in Stahnsdorf 75-59 on Sunday. RSV Eintracht made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. RSV Eintracht outrebounded SC Rist Wedel 47-25 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. SC Rist Wedel was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Antoine Myers (191-90, college: Troy) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. The other American import forward Josh Adeyeye (196-93, college: Jacksonville) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Will Barnes (185-88, college: Lee) replied with 14 points and Moritz Huebner (200-97, agency: Octagon Europe) added 11 points in the effort for SC Rist Wedel. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. RSV Eintracht moved-up to tenth place in North, which they share with Rist Wedel and Recklinghausen. SC Rist Wedel lost fourth consecutive game. RSV Eintracht will face higher ranked Artland Dragons (#4) in Quakenbrueck in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
