It was a great evening for naturalized American forward Sergio Kerusch (195-89, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. American point guard Marcus Hatten (185-80, college: St.John's) helped adding 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Mitteldeutscher BC players scored in double figures. Naturalized Chilean Sebastian Herrera (193-97) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Ryan Nicholas (201-91, college: Portland) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Gladiators' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Mitteldeutscher BC. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Kirchheim. Gladiators at the other side keep the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Oettinger R.. Mitteldeutscher BC will play against Ehingen/Urspringschule (#14) in Allmendingen in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gladiators will play on the road against Chemnitz (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
