The game in was also quite interesting. Seventh ranked ICIM Arad (3-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Sirius TgM (1-7). ICIM Arad managed to secure a 9-point victory 81-72 on Sunday. Sirius TgM trailed by 17 points at halftime and as many as 27 after three quarters before a 31-13 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 72-81 at the end of the game. ICIM Arad outrebounded Sirius TgM 48-33 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was a good game for Morgan Stroman (185-91, college: Miami, FL) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Suriya McGuire (180-91, college: Miami, FL) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. ICIM Arad's coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Guard Angel Robinson (170-89, college: Marquette, agency: LBM Management) answered with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and center Teonia McCune (196-93, college: Georgetown, KY) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Sirius TgM. Four Sirius TgM players scored in double figures. ICIM Arad moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Sirius TgM dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. ICIM Arad will face higher ranked Galati (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sirius TgM will play against Satu Mare (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
