Regular Season Round 10: Satu Mare - Sirius TgM 76-66

Rather expected game when 10th ranked Sirius TgM (2-8) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Satu Mare (4-6) 76-66 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-66. Satu Mare outrebounded Sirius TgM 35-24 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Morgan Batey (178-94, college: Vanderbilt) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Angel Robinson (170-89, college: Marquette, agency: LBM Management) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and guard Tear'A Laudermill (175-92, college: Nebraska) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Satu Mare moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Sirius TgM dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Satu Mare will face bottom-ranked Iasi (#10) in Iasi in the next round. Sirius TgM will play on the road against Brasov and hope to win that game.
