The biggest surprise took place in Kapfenberg where host Kapfenberg Bulls (5-5) beat league's leader Gmunden Swans (7-3) 74-68 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Gmunden Swans. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 24-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Serbian point guard Bogic Vujosevic (190-92) who scored 19 points and 5 assists. American guard Kareem Jamar (194-92, college: Montana) chipped in 15 points. Naturalized German power forward Tilo Klette (206-77) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and international forward Enis Murati (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Kapfenberg Bulls maintains fourth place with 5-5 record, which they share with Arkadia. Gmunden Swans at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Oberwart. Gmunden Swans will play next round against Furstenfeld Panthers trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Kapfenberg Bulls will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Raiffeisen Wels at home.
