An exciting game was played in Klaipeda. First ranked Suduva faced 3rd ranked Fortuna. Guests from Marijampole (8-1) defeated host Fortuna (5-4) 67-49. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-49. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Laura Svaryte (190-92) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Ieva Kazlauskaite (180-94) chipped in 11 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Suduva players scored in double figures. International center Justina Matuzonyte (198-94) produced 10 points and 9 rebounds and Agne Cerneckyte (173-96) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Fortuna's coach Vilius Stanisauskas rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Suduva have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record.
