Leader Mitteldeutscher BC delivered the fifteenth victory on Thursday night. This time they beat 13th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (4-12) 89-72 in Allmendingen. Mitteldeutscher BC made 28-of-32 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Andrew Warren (196-87, college: Bradley, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 21 points (made all of his eight free throws) and the other American import point guard Marcus Hatten (185-80, college: St.John's) who added 13 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Mitteldeutscher BC players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) responded with 21 points and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Tobias Jahn (204-86, college: Cal Poly Pomona) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mitteldeutscher BC (15-1) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Ehingen/Urspringschule lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with ETB Wohnbau. Mitteldeutscher BC will meet at home league's second-placed Crailsheim Merlins in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play against MLP Academics Heidelberg (#5) and hope to secure a win.
