The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Karlsruhe SC's (9-5) road victory over 7th ranked TV Langen (7-7) 75-65 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Croatian center Denis Vrsaljko (209-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Croatian swingman Luka Drezga (196-87) helped adding 27 points and 4 steals. Four Karlsruhe SC players scored in double figures. Karlsruhe SC's coach Jaivon Harris used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was guard Timothy Chabot (189-96) with 8 points and 6 rebounds and forward Chris Reinhardt (202-88) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for Karlsruhe SC. They moved-up to fourth place in South-West, which they share with Lich II and Koblenz. Loser TV Langen dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Karlsruhe SC will face Lich II (#6) at home in the next round. TV Langen will play against Heidelberg USC and hope to win that game.
