Very predictable result when seventh ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (8-6) won against at home 15th ranked Balikesir (2-12) 80-69 on Saturday. Pinar Karsiyaka had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Polish swingman Mateusz Ponitka (196-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Mike Green (185-85, college: Butler) contributed with 15 points, 9 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Pinar Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. American-Nigerian Ike Ofoegbu (205-84, college: SMU) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Alfrie Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) added 16 points in the effort for Balikesir.
