Regular Season Round 15: Zwickau - TSV Troester 86-107

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Zwickau (4-10) was rolled over at home by fifth ranked TSV Troester (10-4) 107-86 on Saturday. TSV Troester well out of reach of Zwickau shooting 77.6 percent from the field and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. TSV Troester shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 92.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for center Alexander Heide (206-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Center Erik Land (205-90) helped adding 23 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). TSV Troester's coach Johannes Laub felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was forward Andreas Endig (198-78) with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all thirteen shots !!!) and guard Hendrik Bellscheidt (193-90) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. TSV Troester moved-up to fourth place in South-East, which they share with Vilsbiburg. Zwickau lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with ten games lost. TSV Troester will face Rosenheim (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Zwickau will play against Topstar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
