Regular Season Round 15: Oberhaching - Bad Aibling 70-79

No shocking result in a game in Deisenhofen where third ranked Bad Aibling (12-2) won against 8th ranked Oberhaching (6-8) 79-70 on Sunday. Bad Aibling forced 20 Oberhaching turnovers and had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Serbian center Miljan Grujic (206) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Malo Valerien (195-92) helped adding 22 points. Bad Aibling's coach Luca Burci used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) with 30 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Janosch Koegler (190-93) scored 18 points. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Bad Aibling. They moved-up to second place in South-East. Loser Oberhaching keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Bad Aibling will face league's leader Coburg at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Oberhaching will play against Treuchtlingen (#3) in Treutchlingen and hope to win that game.
