No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked RSV Eintracht (5-9) beat 12th ranked Recklinghausen (2-12) in Stahnsdorf 77-66 on Sunday. RSV Eintracht outrebounded Recklinghausen 40-29 including 26 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. Forward Josh Smith (206-94, college: Clemson) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Josh Adeyeye (196-93, college: Jacksonville) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Power forward Tre Hale-Edmerson (206-92, college: CS Northridge) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Chris Iles (180-89, college: Xavier, LA) added 9 points and 6 assists in the effort for Recklinghausen. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. RSV Eintracht maintains tenth position in North with 5-9 record. Recklinghausen lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 12 games lost. RSV Eintracht will face higher ranked SC Rist Wedel (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
