Regular Season Round 15: CSU Sibiu - Phoenix Galati 95-87

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Phoenix Galati (5-9) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked CSU Sibiu (9-5) 95-87 on Monday. Phoenix Galati trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 22-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 87-95 at the end of the game. CSU Sibiu shot 60.7 percent from the field and made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. CSU Sibiu forced 20 Phoenix Galati turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Kevin Hardy (188-93, college: McNeese St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian point guard Igor Mijajlovic (192-84) helped adding 16 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Drew Brandon (193-92, college: E.Washington) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian forward Milos Pesic (205-84, agency: 011 Sports) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds.
