An interesting game for Horsens IC (14-2) which played road game in Randers against 4th ranked Randers (8-10). First ranked Horsens IC had an easy win 102-69. The game without a history. Horsens IC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Randers' 26. Horsens IC forced 23 Randers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Randers' players. Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-Belizean point guard Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Patrick Nielsen (200-88) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-2 record. Randers at the other side dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. Horsens IC will play against Horsholm (#4) on the road in the next round. Randers will play against SISU in Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
