The game in Graz supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (9-8) played at the court of 8th ranked UBSC Graz (5-12). Kapfenberg Bulls smashed UBSC Graz 98-55 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Kapfenberg Bulls. UBSC Graz managed to win fourth quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kapfenberg Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to UBSC Graz's 24. Kapfenberg Bulls forced 20 UBSC Graz turnovers and had a 32-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. International Anton Maresch (191-91) produced 15 points and swingman Fabian Richter (191-95) added 8 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. UBSC Graz's coach Lluis Pino gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Kapfenberg Bulls. They maintain fourth place with 9-8 record. UBSC Graz lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. Kapfenberg Bulls will meet at home Arkadia Lions (#7) in the next round. UBSC Graz will play against Furstenfeld Panthers and hope to secure a win.
