Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Turk Telekom (10-9) rolled over 13th ranked Gelisim (6-13) in Ankara 79-58 on Saturday. Turk Telekom forced 19 Gelisim turnovers. Quite impressive performance for American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) contributed with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) answered with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and American point guard Adonte Parker (186-89, college: Dayton) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Gelisim. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Turk Telekom have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain ninth place with 10-9 record. Loser Gelisim keeps the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Turk Telekom will face higher ranked Socar Petkim (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gelisim will play against Samsun (#7) and hope to win that game.
