Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Tuebingen II and 11th ranked Stuttgart had identical 5-10 record. But Stuttgart was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Tuebingen 78-68 on Sunday night. Tuebingen II shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Guard Max Kochendoerfer (192-85) stepped up and scored 16 points for the winners and Albanian forward Vildan Mitku (200-83) chipped in 16 points. Four Tuebingen II players scored in double figures. Forward David Rotim (197-85) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Markus Bretz (202-87) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Stuttgart's coach Domagoj Buljan tested eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tuebingen II. They moved-up to ninth place in South-West, which they share with Mainz. Loser Stuttgart keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Tuebingen II will face Saarlouis/Dillingen (#11) at home in the next round. Stuttgart will play against Limburg and hope to win that game.
