The game in Silute was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Perlas-MRU (17-12) played at the court of sixth ranked Silute (17-14). Silute defeated Perlas-MRU 86-72. The game was mostly controlled by Silute. Perlas-MRU was better in second period 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Silute players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Brian Wanamaker (185-89, college: Texas Wesleyan) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Simas Raupys (195-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Wanamaker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Silute players scored in double figures. Silute's coach Robertas Kuncaitis used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Tautvydas Pipiras (197-93) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and forward Arnas Berucka (195-97) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Silute have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 17-14 record. Perlas-MRU at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. Silute will have a break next round. Perlas-MRU will play on the road against Rasai (#4) in Raseiniai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
