Very predictable result when twelfth ranked Yalova Bld (8-14) won against 17th ranked Mamak DSI (4-18) in Ankara 98-88 on Saturday. Yalova Bld shot 61.3 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Mert Eken (193-87) contributed with 24 points for the winners. American guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) replied with 22 points and 5 steals and guard Ihsan Yalcin Azizmahmutogullari (188-82) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Mamak DSI. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Yalova Bld maintains twelfth position with 8-14 record. Mamak DSI lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with 18 games lost. Yalova Bld will face higher ranked Socar Petkim (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Mamak DSI will play against Pertevniyal (#15) in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
